Last night, I logged into my synobox and created a folder called "why".
Then, I connect to the synobox's ftp, it didn't shown up.
What should I do to let the folder appear in ftp?

It's difficult to tell what is being asked here. This question is ambiguous, vague, incomplete, overly broad, or rhetorical and cannot be reasonably answered in its current form. See the FAQ for guidance on how to improve it.

At first, are you sure you created that folder in correct directory?

Second, filesystem permissions. Some ftp daemons only list files and folders you are able to access. If your umask is something that denies access from other users, and you connect with another user with ftp (you should, as ftp is unencrypted and therefore insecure), then it's possible you can't see it.

If possible, you should try using sftp. WinSCP is an excellent sftp/scp client for Windows. In Unix, OpenSSH includes sftp client.
