Super User is a question and answer site for computer enthusiasts and power users. It's 100% free, no registration required.

Background

Non profit org (NPO) is holding a conference with speakers. The conference is free to the first 100 people who sign up. Signing up consists of typing your first name, last name e-mail and company affiliation into a form somewhere. The office manager will need to be able to track the attendance and perhaps print off name tags.

Question

What is a free on-line tool that will allow NPO to manage this without me having to charge them to build a custom web-app?

If you are looking for something more 'robust' than a spreadsheet you can go to http://dabbledb.com/ and create a free online database. With this, you will be able to query users, etc.

How about a Google Docs form? Will go right into a handy Google Spreadsheet, and is embeddable into their web site.

Go to Google Docs, click New > Form. Come up with the form you need, and in the top-right under More Actions there will be an "Embed" option.
