I installed surf (algebraic geometry drawing app) on Fedora 14 from source. When I run it, it looks 'bleached', that is the window is half-transparent and I almost can't see anything (certainly not menus). Any idea what might be wrong? I think it uses some custom X widget kit, but I'm not sure; it requires Gtk+.

Screenshot? I would think that this is due to changing the number of colors, but I am not sure. – Alex Feb 24 '11 at 6:12
