I just started to use MicroXP - small but useful custom Windows XP "bundle" (ISO file is ~100Mb and install under VirtualBox takes less then 10 minutes to first run). It can be the thing many developers would use to test their code under Win32, run tunnel through RDP, etc.

The sad thing is there's no support for Russian language (but the author claims that he saved all the languages except Chinese/Korean/Japanese :-))

My question is - how can I add Russian language to my MicroXP?

Since MicroXP is not an officially supported Microsoft Version, and provided by breaking the EULA for Windows XP, this question falls in the same category as a Hackintosh, and will not be allowed on Super User. – Diago Feb 24 '11 at 8:49
@Diago: Could you eradicate the [microxp] tag then before it grows? – Jeff Mercado Feb 24 '11 at 9:08
@Jeff Just remove it from the questions completely. Only devs can eradicate tags. – Diago Feb 24 '11 at 9:41
@Diago: Ah sorry, I thought that was something you could do. – Jeff Mercado Feb 24 '11 at 9:59

Questions on Super User are expected to generally relate to computer software or computer hardware, within the scope defined in the faq.

Not possible - XP doesn't allow changing language

Do you see anywhere the sentence 'change language'? It's about support, i.e. most likely for setting default codepage. – Andrejs Cainikovs Feb 24 '11 at 8:30
"Regional and Language Settings" in Control Panel? – Phil D. Feb 24 '11 at 8:39
