While not strictly a hardware question, I'm hoping this falls into the remit of questions I can ask. I currently have a lead time of over a month which is unacceptable; is there anything I can do to speed this up?

This is off topic, so I'm voting to close, but I will point out that adding PSTN lines can have many complications from capacity on the switch to facilities on the MDF to available pairs at your F1/F2 boxes. This process can often take as long as 6 months to fix all of that, if 1-2 months is what you were quoted, that is likely the best that they can do. – MaQleod Mar 8 '11 at 20:20
Both off-topic and too localized. – Daniel Beck Mar 8 '11 at 20:25
I don't know if I agree with the localized part, as expediting orders with any ilec anywhere in the world will likely be as futile. – MaQleod Mar 8 '11 at 20:31

Questions on Super User are expected to generally relate to computer software or computer hardware, within the scope defined in the faq.

Openreach and expedite rarely appear together in the same sentence!

I found that the best way to try and grab someone's attention at BT was to moan about them on Twitter! There is also @BTCare to contact http://twitter.com/btcare

Other than that, if you find the right incantation DO let me know.
