Off topic. Questions should be related to computer hardware or software. If you can change your question to be about computers, it'll be fine. Otherwise, it'll be closed. – Wuffers Mar 13 '11 at 3:16

@DilSe: That doesn't matter. Just because everything has computers in it doesn't mean it actually is a computer. Seriously, check the FAQ. – Wuffers Mar 13 '11 at 3:18
You can view it frm a computer s/w point of view. – DilSe Mar 13 '11 at 3:23
@DilSe: Maybe you should make that more clear by putting it in your question. – Wuffers Mar 13 '11 at 3:24

Technically for NTSC it is 24000/1001 which comes out to 23.976... The Blu-ray standard actually supports several frame rates and several different resolutions, but the most popular (here in the states where we use NTSC anyways) is the 1920 x 1080 @ 23.976 fps. A good Blu-ray player will not squawk at you for trying to play a PAL disc though. See the table below for all possible options.

Welcome to Super User! Could you please provide reference next time? Answers should be objective or good subjective, thoughts in this setting are bad subjective answers as they don't help in the process of determining the real resolutions and frame rates supported by BluRay movies. Thank you! – Tom Wijsman Mar 13 '11 at 15:30
