USB flash drives are bad for using them as swapspace.

Are there any fast&cheap volatile memory as a thumb drive to easily increase laptop memory beyond usual limits?

Like USB-to-DDR adaptor.

There is no specification for using USB to extend main store, only for mass storage.

Vi specifically mentioned Swap Space. USB can be used for Swap Space, but yes, Flash is bad. – Majenko Mar 14 '11 at 10:23
