My iPhone keeps blinking ON every few seconds and then goes off by itself.
It started recently after the 3.0 upgrade.
How do I figure this out?

I would boot the phone into DFU mode, by following the steps listed here: http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=1034 Once in DFU mode you can reapply the 3.0 update through iTunes. I've used this process many times after failed attempts to jailbreak my phone. Good luck! | |||

Try to restore the previous firmware on your iPhone and then reapply the 3.0 update. If that doesn't solve it, I'd recommend setting an appointment up with a "guru" or whatever they call them at the Apple stores to have it looked at for replacement. | |||
