what is wrong with this question that it is been down voted? – Smith Mar 19 '11 at 15:36
The reason why it was down voted was because your question implied something different from what it turned out you really meant. You really should have elaborated because since you are a new user, I think most people would have thought you are just a user that doesn't know about diagramming software, but you really wanted to know where to get clip art. Besides, if you do know as much as you imply in response to my answer, then you would know that practically any graphics software could have made that. So you're really just wasting everyone's time with a poorly worded question. – deltaray Mar 19 '11 at 16:13
@deltaray My question was clear, I am not looking for cliparts. i saw a picture on the internet through google, and wanted to know which software was used to make the diagram or illustration. Besides, if you do know as much as you imply in response to my answer, then you would know that practically any graphics software could have made that I often see this set of images used in diagraming, that is why i asked the question like that. – Smith Mar 19 '11 at 16:38
Your question was clear to you, but not to us. The point is that you have to make it clear to people who might be answering your question and this is where you failed. – deltaray Mar 21 '11 at 4:57

The picture icons look like Visio to me, an extra part of Microsoft Office. If the file has an .vsd extension that would enable to you know for sure.

It's Visio. See the description of these OmniGraffle icons. A handy set of isometric icons based on Visio's icons. – Daniel Beck Mar 19 '11 at 15:31

If you can post the original somewhere including the original extension, then it might be possible to determine the program by looking at the binary data in the file. If you're just wondering what kind of program can be used to make diagrams like this, then it can be Visio, Dia, Illustrator, Inkscape, etc. The elements in it remind me more of something that is made with a vector drawing program like Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape (which is an open source vector drawing program).

@deltaray the reason i asked is that i often see the pc symbol and the user symbol. I am a designer and developer, so i know a number of programs. i will check viso, but its not dia, illustrator, or inkscape, because i have all these prohrams – Smith Mar 19 '11 at 13:03
@Smith: So your question is really "Where can I get this clipart?" – Dennis Williamson Mar 19 '11 at 13:19
@deltaray this seems like a Gnome Icon theme to me – slhck Mar 19 '11 at 13:24
@slhck where can i get this gnome icon theme? – Smith Mar 19 '11 at 13:42

It looks more like a program I used to use on the Mac a while back. I can't remember what it was called, but it worked like Visio (but wasn't Visio).
