Are they both in the same workgroup? – Moab Mar 26 '11 at 14:34
What are you using to connect? Please list steps and software. – P.Brian.Mackey Mar 26 '11 at 14:45
@Moab: AFAIK, the only purpose of "workgroups" is to group computers in the "browse lists" used by NetBIOS name resolution. They do not otherwise affect communication between computers. – grawity Mar 26 '11 at 17:58
I know, but with the limited info in the post, doing this can help. – Moab Mar 26 '11 at 19:28
