Super User is a question and answer site for computer enthusiasts and power users. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I'm looking for a service that will provide live football/soccer statistics (match and player stats, preferably) over API or RSS (or whatever), or perhaps just provide easily parsable stats.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

The openfooty API from footytube has everything you need, and it's free for non-commercial use.

This project is dead, although not officially announced they're not issuing API keys and parts are reported to have become broken over time. –  Blowsie May 3 '13 at 7:48

After a little big of googling I found this article which might be helpful to you:

Someone else asked the very same question in this forum and they linked to the following site which provides RSS feeds of results for several sports.

At least summarise the page instead of a link only answer. –  random Aug 20 '09 at 10:32

http://www.xmlTeam.com provides stats for NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and NCAA. Their feeds are not free, but they do have multiple price-points.
