is there any way to paste file in another location in Mac ?While i am using mac os, i can't paste any file in another directory like d: or e: except mac directory.

Are you talking about local drives on your machine? Mac OS X doesn't have the concept of d: and e: like a Windows box. – Paul Whitehurst Mar 30 '11 at 5:23

Use Command-C (copy) and Command-V (paste). I just verified this works both copying files around a mac partition and also copying to a mounted smb share.
