I'm looking for 4x4Gb of RAM to fit in an Asus P5Q Pro Turbo motherboard. Can you find a compatible model that's still sold in north america ( I'm from Canada, but I could order from US )

Note: I'm asking this because I can't find any of the compatible sticks that are indicated in the Asus Manual.

I can't find a P5L Pro Turbo - there's a P5L MX and P5Q Pro Turbo, and only the latter has four slots. Also, 4x4GB would be 16GB, not 12.

I don't want to recommend a specific model since that's discouraged here, but it looks like any DDR2 DIMMs should be fine.

Ooops, my mistake, it's P5Q, not P5L, I just edited. Very sorry about that. I understand about the publicity, but I'm lost with all the timing and speeds... Are you sure that any DDR2 will be ok ? Should I try to find dual kit or 4x single 4gb stick would do ? – FMaz008 Apr 4 '11 at 23:41
Any DDR2 should be fine, but 2 2x4GB kits would probably provide best performance. – user55325 Apr 4 '11 at 23:58
But still, I'm unable to find any 2x4Gb DDR2 kit ... Except for laptop. – FMaz008 Apr 5 '11 at 1:32
