What web browser are you using? – Troggy Aug 20 '09 at 19:55

Browser and version number would help. It also wouldn't hurt to update Vista to SP2 (although probably not an issue here). – tnorthcutt Aug 20 '09 at 19:57
Affects all browsers (Chrome 2, Firefox 3.5 and IE8). – user7246 Aug 20 '09 at 21:11

If you have uninstall flash through the "add/remove programs", it might not be totally uninstalled.

Try the official Flash Uninstaller here, remember to reboot windows before reinstalling: http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html#uninstaller

I had a similar problem; The video would buffer needlessly much, about 30 secs video or even more before one could start watching it. I reinstalled flash and stuff, tried different browsers but nothing seemed to work... but then I disabled my F-secure's online traffic scanning and flash was playing quickly again!

He was saying the video won't load until the whole video has been buffered. – deddebme Aug 23 '09 at 0:05
