I would like to know the possible reason for this error message which I have never seen before. (An update perhaps which has caused some database error. What error? ). And instead of flagging my question. Please point me to an appropriate geek forum. If you know a better place for my question that is. So.

I try to connect to: http://www.scarlettjohansson.org/ Then I get this:

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Host 'gator222.hostgator.com' is blocked because of many connection errors; unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts' in /home/nize3/public_html/scarlettjohansson/open_database.php on line 3 No pudo conectarse : Host 'gator222.hostgator.com' is blocked because of many connection errors; unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts'

Why?

Site had too many visitors. They couldn't keep up. That's all. Or as @Wil suggests below... – random Apr 7 '11 at 0:07
@Random, maybe not... Was just about to post this: It is a problem their end. It is nothing to do with you. Just wait for their administrator/webmaster to fix the problem, alternatively it could be a problem with the server and you have to wait for the provider (in this case, Hostgator) to fix it. – William Hilsum Apr 7 '11 at 0:07
Thanks! I think I now got the info I wanted. – Olof Edler Apr 7 '11 at 0:19
