I have had issues with java on my computer for a while. First of all, java has never worked on Google Chrome or Firefox, Only IE. Whenever I need to use Java, I use IE. Now, I just tried to play minecraft the other week and I receive the error "fatal error (1)" and get a black screen (this is on the online free version). Now, I searched for java and found that I have Java 32 bit. I cannot uninstall it on Revo uninstaller or Windows uninstaller. What should I do?

You need 32-bit Java for doing applets in web pages, because all major browsers run at 32-bit right now. But, from what I can tell, Minecraft works a lot better with 64-bit Java on 64-bit operating systems. So, you should reinstall 32-bit Java to fix applets (which should fix Chrome and Firefox as well), and then install 64-bit Java for Minecraft. To download 32-bit Java, visit this site and choose either the online or offline installer for Windows. To download 64-bit Java, visit this site and select Windows x64. | |||||||
