I just upgraded to Firefox 4 and can't seem to find a feature I used quite often:

If I accidentally close a tab, I could right-click and select an option to reopen the closed tab.

Where is this feature in Firefox 4?

Right-click on an existing tab and select Undo Close Tab

The keyboard shortcut is the same: CTRL + SHIFT + T

Thanks. I always used the history tab and re-opened it there. +1 – Xavierjazz Apr 12 '11 at 14:18

It's grayed out for me, so this doesn't seem to work... – muntoo Apr 12 '11 at 22:37

If I click the "Firefox" button I can still navigate to History > Recently Closed Tabs.

Al Everett is correct. If you are looking for the shortcut in a Mac OS X system, it's command + shift + T

I also use Ctrl + F12, but can't work out if it's a Firefox standard or from an add-on.

Must be an add-on; doesn't work for me. – Al Everett Apr 12 '11 at 19:20
that's tab mix plus' hotkey (also @AlEverett) – Tobias Kienzler Apr 13 '11 at 6:24

I personally use an add-on called Tab Mix Plus. Among other things, it allows you to restore tabs by showing a "recently closed tabs" list when you right-click the tab bar.

Already answered but not the best way of restoring a closed tab. Best way is mouse gestures addon named "Firegestures", install it. then hold down right click then sway right & left. voila :) if u sway more, it will keep to restore previously closed tabs in order. i believe this is the best way of that... heil mouse gestures (who implements it first, the Opera)

-1 very biased. The best way of restoring a closed tab is to install a mouse gestures addon? Ridiculous. – Erick Robertson Apr 12 '11 at 20:14

Or you could just go "Control + Shift + T" instead of downloading a plugin. I know you're only trying to help Risyasin, but resorting to a plugin should be the last thing you do. – Dwayne Apr 12 '11 at 23:09
@Erick Of course my answer is biased. Have you ever tried this method ? – risyasin Apr 13 '11 at 11:48
I have used mouse gestures, but not this plug-in. – Erick Robertson Apr 14 '11 at 14:14
