powerpoint: how to make steps in custom animation

I have an image on a slide that I want to move from left to rigth as follows: move for 100px (or for a 1 cm, or for 1 inch, it does not matter), then stop, then at a click move again for 100px, then stop, and so on, ten times. I see that I can choose a custom animation putting some points, but these points serve to define the path and not the stops. Since it seems to me that copy&paste does not work with animation, is there any method to insert such animation, without repeating tyhe work ten times?

I think you need to add 10 individual custom animations.
