I am a newbie to graphic world. Is there a software I can use to draw pictures/landscapes/people similar to a oil painting or water color?

Your best bet for starting off is to get a graphics tablet. Trying to do digital painting/illustration without one is madness. Wacom is quite popular and offers a wide range of models and prices. Corel Painter is designed to mimic various media, such as watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel, pencil, etc. The full version of Painter 11 is quite expensive, but the last few Wacom tablets I've used come with a "light" version of Painter which will certainly get you started. |
