I want to make a few basic tutorials about various computer concepts and problems etc.

Personally, I always think an animation/video is a lot better than just voice, or a video of me talking!

I can't draw and I do not really want anything that complicated - some basic clipart along with simple animation (move, rotate etc.) will most likely be enough to look nice.

So far, probably the easiest solution I have found is Animation-ish - however, it has a recommendation age of 4-12 and looks rather baby-ish!... However, it appears to do pretty much what I want!

I was just wondering if anyone knows of any better applications or can recommend anything that will help achieve the goal.

It would be a bonus if it supports audio queueing or some sort of feature to match up my speech to the animation easily.

This may not exactly be what you want, as it focuses more on programming and interactivity, but you could consider Scratch. It is, however, designed to be intuitive to use; code constructs such as loops are graphically structured and are designed to snap together easily.

+1 for the help/looks interesting... not entirely sure, but, will give it a go as I am going to be starting this project very soon. – William Hilsum Aug 22 '11 at 22:30

I just stumbled about this rather old question, that has never really been answered.

Personally, I really like Prezi. You can add videos but no sound yet. It's still under active development, so it might be added in the future.
