Why would my Macbook Pro suddenly not let me click? I can tap [to click], but I can't click with the mouse button. I have done disk utility repair, but nothing happen. Is it a hardware problem?

Unless your mouse button click function has been re-assigned to something else (check your mouse settings), then it very likely is a hardware problem -- I suspect a failing switch in your mouse button (if your machine is still under warranty, then that should save you the expense of getting it repaired).
