this sounds like s "Server Fault" question. – IanNorton Apr 30 '11 at 11:32
svchost is not a virus. it is a host for dlls that are loaded. get process explorer from sysinternals and find the offending instance of svchost. see which dlls are loaded there and add them to the question. – RobotHumans Apr 30 '11 at 12:32
