I've been trying to get these two updates to install because without them Internet Explorer 9 will not install.
After searching the internet there were many others having almost the same problem:

Nothing has worked to get the updates installed, from what I can see there's an invalid registry key that cannot be read that is stopping the installation.
Is there anything that can be done?
