I have a MacBook Pro and a Canon LBP3010B printer. For some reason my printer doesn't print any characters, only images.

I'm not sure what the problem is, any ideas why the printer would behave in this way?

It might be that the printer resolution is set too low. I have had this problem in the past when I was trying to save ink.

I needed to set mine (old: HP 6L) to print at its max, 600 and I had to make sure that the econo mode was set to off. Good luck. – Xavierjazz May 9 '11 at 19:13
