I am using ffserver to stream video from my webcam to over the net. I am looking to make these streams available as a file, so I can serve them over http and through an apache server uri scheme.

I will appreciate any suggestion on how to accomplish and and kind of “bind” a stream (however) into a file.

Maybe your file can be just a configuration file, and the application you use in the client end just reads the uri out of it and starts streaming. – solarc May 12 '11 at 23:34
The porpuse of the solution I am seeking for, is to be able to insert an actual stream in an URI under an Apache+PHP environment, so I can give access only to people logged in in the php system. – Marius May 13 '11 at 3:14
