I've been using vanBasco for years. It plays .kar files which are basically Mid files with lyrics encoded. Rock on!

The software is only for playback and only plays Midi type files. If you're looking for software to manipulate MP3s and seperate music from vocals than vanBasco is definatly not the right fit. – Duey Aug 23 '09 at 18:23

I don't think you'll find software that can completely remove vocals. You'll be able to find software that tries, though.

The only way you'll be able to completely remove vocals is if you have an acapella and the original. Even then, the results won't be great.

You're probably best off going with the midi option Duey pointed out
