What files are accessed often?

Hi any recommendations on some good free software to test disk IO in Windows 7? I will be running a dedicated SSD swap drive and also testing this with readyboost.

@random I would let Payson confirm, but I disagree with duplicate status. The linked topic is about accessed file by the operating system. I think this question is more about the velocity of disk input/output. –  M'vy May 20 '11 at 17:14

@M'vy - I concur and I was going to email the team, I didn't realize we could post comments after a post is closed. Specifically I am looking for load testing, not performance analysis. Eg I want software that will simulate a variety of loads so that I can find my configuration sweet spot, not analyze existing disk IO. –  Payson Welch May 20 '11 at 17:26

SpinRite (freeware) by Steve Gibson, which can make your disk work very hard, includes "an advanced mass storage benchmarking system" as can be found near the bottom of this web page (see the last screen shot): grc.com/srscreens.htm –  Randolf Richardson May 20 '11 at 17:27
