I have Firefox 4 installed on my MacBook (late 2009, Snow Leopard). Sometimes it crawls and when I have a look at top or htop, I see, that it eats up way more then 1 Gigabyte of Memory. How is that? At least it is just a browser and now Videogame, isn't it? =)

it's not "just a browser". – Sathya May 22 '11 at 8:12

possible duplicate of Firefox 4 on Mac OS X : memory leak - not 100% overlap, but it just shows that obviously there's not much you can do about it – slhck May 22 '11 at 8:12
