What Microsoft packs are there to enhance the command line?

I wanted setx for example. And I can find it. But I'm interested in having a good collection of tools. I notice

Windows 2007 resource kit, I can't find a link, is it pay only?

Windows 2003 resource kit doesn't have it

Windows 2000 resource kit for administrative tasks does. And it mentions a direct link to setx.

But why is it gone from the 2003 resource kit?

Do people ever install both?

Another thing I see, is Windows XP Service Pack 2 Support Tools that has setx

I notice there's a Windows 2003 support tools but that doesn't have setx

So does that mean the windows xp sp2 support tools may be more up to date than the win2k3 support tools

SETX looks to be a standard windows file in Windows 7 (in C:\Windows\System32) so perhaps that is why it is not included in particular resource kits? – therube May 29 '11 at 20:03
