I would like to know if this possible to be done on a HDTV.

  1. Surf the Internet, eg. write emails.
  2. Watch Hulu, NBC, ABC via the browser.
  3. Record TV shows.
  4. Play movie files.

I have been looking around and I am very confused. I saw the Logitech Revue with Google TV which is able to do items 1 and 4, but cannot seem to do items 2 and 3.

Anyway, does anyone know a device that can do all the above? Do you think that connecting a PC directly to a TV is the only solution? If so, how would you be able to record TV shows through the PC?
