My Coby TV is 19 inches HDTV. My Laptop is a HP DV4 Pavillion I just bought last year (Windows 7 home premium)

When I connect my laptop to the Coby TV (HDMI to HDMI), the TV says "no signal".

I'm sure that the HDMI ports work in my:

  • Coby TV: because my PS3 can connect to it
  • Laptop: because I can connect it to Sony Bravia in my friend's house

Does anybody know how I can get it to work in Coby TV?
