I recently upgraded from iMovie '09 to iMovie '11 in the middle of working on a project. In iMovie '09 I was able to export to AVI without problems. However now when I try the same thing in iMovie '11, the sound gets messed up. In my video I have turned the volume all the way down in certain segments of video. However when exporting to AVI the sound can still be heard. For some reason this problem doesn't occur when exporting to .m4v just when exporting to .avi.
