Is there any way (firefox addon, javascript tool, etc) to make notes on a live webpage. For example, let's say I want to send someone a link to http://developer.android.com/guide/index.html

But I want to highlight a few key points on the page. Or maybe create my own custom internal # links. Or create sticky-note style notes to a certain portion of a page.

Is there any way of doing this? Ideally I want to be able to link to the live page, not a screenshot, or anything else like that.

You can consider scrible - it's in beta now, it has most of the feature you wanted.

http://www.scrible.com/

Otherwise, consider the links offered here (mostly paid tools):
