Lots of people are asking how to display video on a second monitor using VLC.

In Windows XP, I'm finding that my second monitor always displays full screen video and I would like to be able to limit it to just the scaled video display of the first monitor.

I other words, I just want to have video embedded with controls.

Does it display properly on the first screen? Do you lose controls and normal scaling when you move it to the 2nd monitor? – Steve Jun 10 '11 at 5:03
