Many of the visitors reported that they had faced problem of double/many clicks in IE8. I found the same in many forums.

People suggested to uninstall addons/flashplayer etc. Many other answered it as hardware issue.

one of my user is also facing the same issue. and i am not able to answer him. I seen from the server log and observed that same hits are coming with 3-5 seconds intrval. This is being happened when user clicks on a link to open a page which is having an applet on it.

Please suggest the cause.

I honestly don't understand what the question is. Who are "many of the visitors"? What problem are you talking about? The "problem of double/many clicks"? What is that? – slhck Jun 10 '11 at 10:46
