I just decided to try tiling in KDE 4.6 and there are several issues:
1) Layouts seem limited. In spiral mode, I can't move the border between windows (left/right). In column mode, I can, but I cannot seem to split the left column into multiple rows. (e.g. produce 4 square windows)
2) Google Chrome is completely unaffected by tiling; it always floats.
Are there any ways to fix these issues? Is there another manager to use? I still would like to use KDE regardless.
