I got a cool promotional usb drive and I would like to format it for personal use. It has two partitions: one appears as a regular external drive and is actually empty, while the other appears on my mac as a cd drive and contains promotional material. i'd like to merge them and get rid of the promotional stuff. is it possible? On disk utility, the "cd drive" appears locked, all the options to erase, restore or partition are greyed out. Any suggestions?
