I installed x11vnc server onto my Ubuntu 11.04 and forwarded the required ports, but when I try to connect via the native Remote Desktop viewer it just closes. On the server side I get this error:
tail: cannot watch '/tmp/x11vnc.tray.cdhszl': No such directory
I ran a locate search on my terminal to see if perhaps it just had the wrong directory, but there were no results. I then checked the logs on my router thinking that perhaps it was just a firewall issue, or an authentication issue but nothing.
Any ideas how I can get it working?
