The driver package for this model is actually just an annoying wizard that requires you to connect the printer to the computer via USB cable; great for if you have a laptop, not if you're using a desktop.

Is there any way to extract and install the driver manually?

Does this printer actually have a bundled driver? I've never actually seen a Linux driver for a consumer printer.

Also, how are you connecting to the printer? Is it on a network?

The driver was from their site, in fact. It is setup successfully on the network already, with all Windows nodes able to connect without issue. – Withnail Jun 15 '11 at 0:00
