How to use VLC to record some non-standard online streaming audio

Question

I was trying to use VLC to record streaming audio from these 2 sites:

http://www.ic975.com/NetRadio/?t=0.8510416733259174

However, those seem not like normal online radio sites, which have standard MMS or RSTP and can by directly record by VLC.

Is there any way to see if these radios intend to block client tools to record? Any way to workaround that? Please advise, thanks.
