I have a UTStarcom F3000 WiFi VOIP phone which I tried to perform a firmware upgrade to and it failed with the result being a bricked phone.

I started the upgrade with too little battery left and it failed through the process. I have tried to replace the battery with a fully charged but there is no response from the unit.

Any recommendations on how to proceed? There is a mini-USB socket on the phone if it helps.

Not really on topic for SU. I've tried a few quick searches for info without much success. Good luck – Linker3000 Jun 20 '11 at 15:10
Closed as off topic? I don't agree; As per the FAQ: "...except insofar as they interface with your computer". I am trying to use my computer (hint: mini-USB socket) to bring this device back to life. I am looking for software to use. – mr-euro Jun 20 '11 at 17:09
