I have installed Windows 2008 (Servert) x64 on my 2009 iMac and all is fine except for the Network. Whilst the device manager says the drivers are installed fine and there are no conflicts, I have no network connectivity.
I found another discussion where others had the same problem, and run Everest Ultimate to determine the exact model of the network adapter and sorted from there. I have tried to do the same though it appears my network adapter is:
nVidia MCP79/7A - LAN Controller (PHY: Realtek RTL8211/8212)
..whereas theres was an intel. I've tried to find 64bit drivers for this adapter (for Win2008 / Vista) but had no luck, and the drivers that are installed by the original MacOS disc under bootcamp are clearly not working (Im guessing they are 32bit).
Can anyone please shed any light on how I might get the network adapter up and running on this Win2008 x64 bootcamp installation, even if it's just a link to some 64 bit drivers that might do the job?
