I have installed kubuntu 11.04 on my Sony Vaio VPCF121FX , and I am not having any sounds ,i dont know what's the problem , I have tried alsa mixer , and all the levels are turned up , i also have checked The Phonon app's sound configs , and all of outputs have the sound card working , but still im having no sounds , can anyone give me a hint or anything relating that ? thanks

Can't think of anything better than producing debugging logs in terminal (see link for environment variables) and trying to find something interesting in them.
