Converting from lossy to lossy formats will result in quality loss. However i would probably recommend free:ac if you have to do it. Its FOSS, and has been fairly reliable and simple to use for me. | ||||

Audacity would work, open source. Besides being arguably the best player out there, VLC can convert video/auto. Also open source. | |||

You should try Format Factory, it converts almost all types into another even mobile devices etc...And a short video about its capabilities... | ||||
