I have a Motorola SBG900 cable modem which has both wireless and wired capability, both on the same subnet. I've had much difficulty maintaining ssh connections over the wireless segment but no such problems with a wired connection even though both are on the same subnet and hence are subject to the same firewall restrictions. I've tried adjusting the ssh keepalive time-out intervals and other such ssh-specific things but the problem persists. Any suggestions for fixing this problem will be much appreciated.
