I store all my pictures in a standard Pictures library (C:\Users\Name\Pictures) on Windows 7. I use Picasa 3.8.0 to work with these pictures.

I have a Windows 7 backup that I run periodically but I specifically exclude the Pictures folder because I back that up via the Picasa backup functionality.

I'm wondering if I can eliminate the Picasa backup system and just use the Windows 7 backup. If I select the options to back up my Pictures library and also my AppData folder under Additional Locations, will that include all the pictures, edits, albums, and other data that Picasa needs? If I re-install Windows and restore my Windows backup, will it all work again?
