This is for a friend. This is a Vista machine going to a Cisco E1000. This laptop PC will connect to the internet using a wired cable. It will also connect to my Verizon wireless router. My Acer laptop running Vista will connect to the E1000 with no problem. Another XP machine connects to the E1000 also with no problem. I have tried removing all wireless networks and starting again. I've unplugged, rebooted numerous times. Cisco told them to get another wireless USB interface, the cable company walked away so that's when I was called. I just chatted with Cisco and they said I had to call tech support.
Any help would be appreciated.
