The OCX Vertex3 SSD unit seems to be a bit troublesome drive according to some blog, comments and forum posts elsewhere.

So from you who have already bought this device, what are the things you would do make sure it operates at optimal performance and reliability?

Beside updating the firmware to the latest version, are there any other tweaks that you recommend me to do? (Bios, Windows drivers...)

Any pitfalls?

Make sure TRIM is enabled, get the latest firmware, and that's it. Other then that, all you need to do is the same tweaks you'd have to do with any other SSD. As a side note, change your question to be more general (as opposed to a very specific product), or it will be closed. – Breakthrough Jul 5 '11 at 13:21
