Back in September 2009 robertvt asked a question about this (HP Color LaserJet 2605dn color alignment issue). I have the same problem. The fix was posted by Jamac47 at:

http://www.printer-repair.guidesonline.info/hp-color-laserjet-2605-colours-out-of-alignment/

This page no longer seems to exist and I cannot find the printer-repair guidelines site. I have searched around but cannot now find details of what Jamac47 said to do.

Can anyone help please? Many thanks

That page is working for me. Perhaps the site was down briefly for maintenance? – boot13 Aug 5 '11 at 18:59

@Hairs571, I hope you'll see this though I'm afraid you won't. Welcome to Super User! I feel a bit bad that somehow your answer was deleted by some automated process. I hope other members did not flag it as spam (I checked; it was not spam). It's just not how this site works (we don't really like answers that are just links), but actually: this very question should not have been asked like this to start with. If you stick around you'll soon have enough reputation to comment in situations like this. Cheers! – Arjan May 16 at 18:10
