I hope this is question is in the correct location, but if it is not, please let me know where it belongs.

I'm creating a bunch of hotspots for a skeleton image that I have. Some areas are really detailed and I need to pick a lot of points. Currently, I'm using Paint.NET to get an outline of something using the XY points that show up on the bottom right-hand corner. It's quite laborious and it's taking me some time to get done.

Does Paint.NET or any other image program have a way to show a list of XY-Coordinates for a selected area? Or are there applications that can do this for me?

I appreciate any help and advice anyone can give.

UPDATE

Since I don't have enough reputation in Superuser to close this question, I'm just going to add an update.

Apparently you can use Dreamweaver to create/select hotspots and I am now using that. It sure beats having to find and write down pixels. Wish I had known about this before though :-/
